Grove City had their fireworks on Saturday, June 30 (which seems a bit early). This year, since all the kids are older and easier to take places together, we decided to go to the Blast at Beulah event, which is at Beulah Park (in Grove City). They had inflatable slides and bounce houses, jump ropes and sidewalk chalk to play with, food booths and music. It was really crowded, but we all had a great time!

We found a spot to sit, set up our chairs and hung out for about an hour. We got some lemonade (the fresh-squeezed kind with lots of sugar), a funnel cake, pizza, cookies, water and pop. Seth and Parker played a game of running around a pole for a while.

Once the fireworks started at 10:00 PM, we were front and center!
We didn't know where the fireworks would come from since we'd never been there before, so we were lucky we picked out a great spot. Parker was immediately fascinated by the fireworks and he stared quietly at them the entire time while sitting on Mommy or Daddy's lap.
All the kids loved being so close to the fireworks and Shane and I thought it was really neat too. Seth commented that we need to go there every year!
