Remembering Todd

Being the tenth year since my brother Todd passed away, we gathered at his cemetery and released balloons up to the sky. Afterward, we spent a nice afternoon in Englewood with family and friends.

Isabelle's 13th Birthday

Back track a couple of months, and we celebrated Isabelle's 13th birthday!! Yes, we have our first teenager in the house! We had a small celebration with grandparents on Isabelle's birthday, followed by her spring choir concert the same night. To celebrate with friends, Isabelle invited her friend Cassidy to eat lunch with us at The Melt and she had a few friends over for pizza and ice cream cake. Two of the girls spent the night (Heidi and Cassidy), which was our first official slumber party.

She's 13!!

We dug up this fun photo from Isabelle's second birthday, and re-created it for her 13th birthday. She's grown a bit!!

Easter 2016

We dyed plenty of Easter eggs this year and the Easter Bunny hid them inside for the kids to find. The Easter Bunny also left everyone a pair of pajamas and a basket full of candy. Bonus - the weather today was great - it reached 71 degrees!

Student of the Month - Seth!

Seth was selected to be the Student of the Month in his class in February! Seth's teacher, Mrs. Ayala, chose him for being hardworking and responsible. Each student of the month has their photo taken and displayed inside the school at the front entrance. To celebrate, I met Seth at school for lunch one day and brought Panda with me (his pick). We are very proud of Seth!!

Seth's Party for Friends

Near the end of January, we had another birthday party for Seth with his friends. He invited four friends, Bryce, John, Tommy and Tristan, to go with us to Dave & Buster's. The boys had a great time playing a lot of games there. After games, we stopped and ate at Donato's Pizza.
