4th Grade Music Program

The 4th grade classes had a musical performance night where they sang songs for the parents. The classes were split up into two groups, so we just saw Isabelle's group.

 It was great to see all of them perform for us. Isabelle had a strong voice and was very confident (later she told us she was nervous).

 She even announced one of the songs! It was a song written by their music teacher.

The Works

The Works is a hands-on museum for kids, located in Newark. We had a really fun day there back in March and all three kids found things they liked!

Shane and Seth built cars and raced them on a nearby downhill track. Seth's car won!

Upstairs houses a museum with things from the Newark area and Ohio

Part of the museum shows what the building used to be used for (metal works). The people are statues.

Larry the Glass Blower is on site and gives demonstrations. Here he is making a vase.

 A train car has been refurbished to look like it originally did.

It was a fun adventure!

Baby Dolls, Ipod and Napping

These photos are from a couple of months ago, but I captured Parker as he was taking care of baby dolls and playing with Isabelle's ipod. Fun times for Parker!

Buckeyes Hat

Parker wore this hat many times to play outside or go places. He loves this hat. We received many comments on it when out and about in the Columbus area!

Easter

Is it too later for an Easter post? This year we dyed eggs using food coloring, vinegar and water. The eggs turned out lighter in color than when we used the dye tablets. We like our new way better!

Indeed the Easter Bunny stopped at our house!
